Refugee women’s relationship with the media and journalism in exile seems problematic and unclear, except for the almost universal dissatisfaction with their image in the media, and changing the way the media deals with refugee women’s issues seems difficult, given the priorities of German and non-German media organizations, and the almost fixed frames that women seem to have to fit into, whether or not they fit into those frames.
