In this “Female Voices in Exile”-workshop, Yasmin Merei and the participants explore topics that concern them regarding their futures in Berlin.
Besides writing, our workshops in 2022 involve the possibility to meet artists from different artistic areas. The aim is to find new ways of self-expression.
The guest of this workshop is the author, actress, choreographer and theater director Nora Amin.
“Female voices in Exile” is a workshop series for female writing in order to create a female memory of Arabic-speaking women in Berlin. For this, we use the method of focused discussions and writing without having to conform a specific style of writing.
